I was born in the 80’s and raised in the province of Quebec in Canada. I grew with Metallica in my Auto-reverse walkman and quickly discovered I had some ease with technology in general, making me the ideal VHS troubleshooter when needed.
TL;DR I'm currently looking for new projects: Let's have a chat!
A few years passed and my dad got me a copy of Linux Magazine that made me fall in love with the thing. I got deeply involved into the local Linux Community from high school to university, enabling me to go from installing it on a Palm (you remember those right?) during an “install fest” I organized to starting my own linux group in college and giving Free Software conferences here and there.
Willing to push myself into unknown territory, I went another route and decided to push through to make a living out of my hobby as a freelance event photographer. I’ve been working with different Canadian medias like the Agence QMI, Journal de Montréal and the Toronto Sun for the past 10 years on and off, while I was busy working full-time in Marketing and Technology.
Truth is, when you’re good at something, it keeps coming back. I got brought back early-on into programming with the coming of the Agendrix project, a Scheduling SaaS software I built the first version from the ground up.
I made a few years jumping from Marketing Agencies to Marketing Agencies stacking experience as a Digital Marketer, PPC guru, Developper, Analytics and e-Commerce Growth expert. Ask anyone I’ve worked with, they’ll tell you I can possibly do anything you’d throw at me.
One thing led to another and I got this opportunity to work in-house for a Finance Company as an Acquisition Manager, which I jumped-on. Within 6 months, our team managed to achieve huge growth and I got promoted as CTO.
2018 has been a year of investments and acquisitions for me. I’m now co-owner of multiple companies, ranging from e-commerce websites to printing houses!
Anyway, I’m still accepting freelance contracts with anyone looking to plan, meet and exceed their goals on the web. 🙂
